James M. Spillar, 29, of Greensburg, died Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2024, in the Allegheny General Hospital. He was born June 22, 1995, in Latrobe. James was a brewer for City Brewing, Latrobe. James will be remembered for having a huge heart and a fun, outgoing personality. He could make an entire room laugh just by being himself. He loved spending time with his family, friends and pets. His passion in life was finding anything he could get his hands on, to cook in his smoker. James is survived by his parents, Jodi and Jason Ritenour of Greensburg and David A. Spillar of Latrobe; beloved brother, Eric Spillar; stepsisters, Isabella and Leigha Ritenour; grandparents, Jeanne Ramaley and Thomas Ramaley, both of Latrobe, William and Leslie McManamy, Sr. of Ligonier and Joseph and Judy Spillar of Latrobe; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; and his best buddy, Jose' the cat.
