Camille A. Hyland, 83, of Lower Burrell, passed away April 30, 2024. Camille was born Nov. 28, 1940, in Pittsburgh, PA to Colin and Helen Siple. She grew up in Mount Lebanon, PA and graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in 1963. She lived and raised her family in Lower Burrell, PA since 1973. Camille passed away gently with her family at her bedside at St. Margaret Hospital. She recently resided at Bayberry Place in Lower Burrell, PA. A loving mother and grandmother, she was a gentle soul of great faith. She was a long-time member of Bethesda Lutheran church in Lower Burrell, where she was a choir member and served as the church secretary for over 20 years. She was active with Bethesda's Meals-on-Wheels program. She enjoyed playing bridge with friends and doing crosswords and puzzles. She was a member and past president of the Burrellton Women's club. She enjoyed outings with her friends in the Red Hat Society. She was preceded in death by her parents, Colin and Helen Siple, brother James Siple, and husband, Wayne Hyland (Div). She is survived by her three children, Timothy Hyland of Palm Springs, CA; Bruce (Joyce) Hyland of Bay Village, OH; and Elizabeth Hyland (Mick Smith, fianc) of Vandergrift, PA. As well as grandchildren Jack Hyland and Mitchell Hyland. Friends are welcomed at a memorial service to be held at 11 am on Monday, May 6th at Bethesda Lutheran Church, 3084 Leechburg Road, Lower Burrell, PA 15068 with luncheon to follow at the church. Camille will be laid to rest at Bethesda Lutheran Church cemetery in Lower Burrell, PA. The family suggests donations be made to Heifer International (www.heifer.org).
