One last round of scary good times can be found this post-Halloween-kend. Laugh, eat, share, groove and browse with some killer events.
Here are a few fun things to check out.
Hometown Homegrown
Take a bite of everything Pittsburgh at the Heinz History Center in the Strip District. Their Hometown-Homegrown food festival will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
More than 35 local food vendors — from tried-and-true Pittsburgh classics to emerging staples — will converge to bring a variety of bites to festival attendees. This is also a great opportunity to learn more about Western Pennsylvania’s food history and participate in activities throughout the History Center.
There will even be live cooking demonstrations throughout the day. Plus, learn more about cheese, mushrooms, knife sharpening skills and more from local experts.
The festival is included with History Center admission that day, and children 17 and younger — as well as History Center members — get in for free.

Friday and Saturday night’s performances will be held at 7:30 p.m., and a 2:30 p.m. matinee will also happen on Sunday. If this weekend isn’t a good time, the show runs through Nov. 10.
