Susan Ivory, 87, of Greensburg, passed away Saturday, Feb. 17, 2024. She was born May 11, 1936, in Vandergrift. Susan was a 1954 graduate of Greensburg High School. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Greensburg. She was a member and Past Worthy Matron of the William E. Gelston Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star and a Past President of the Junior Women's Club. Prior to retirement, she worked as an office assistant for various local physicians. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Frank R. Ivory Jr.; a brother, Arthur "Ben" Hill; and three sisters, Shirley Ann Hill, Betty Dabold and Arleen Hawk. Susan is survived by two sons, Lee (Suzie) Ivory, of Cranberry Township, and David (Christina) Ivory, of Irwin; a daughter, Kelly (Paul) Carlson, of Somerset; four grandchildren, Madeline Ivory, Alex Ivory, Emma Ivory and Olivia Ivory; a sister, Karen Hill, of Orlando, Fla.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at BARNHART FUNERAL HOME, 505 E. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg.
