Deborah L. (McDermot) Sanderbeck, 65, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., formerly of Shaler Township, passed away. On Monday, Feb. 12, 2024, her beautiful light was suddenly extinguished. She was the beloved wife of Ray Sanderbeck; devoted mother of Jaclyn Sanderbeck (Jimmy Painton) and the late Michelle Sanderbeck; most precious Meem of Aria, Aydin and Austin; dearest sister and best friend of Tricia Rosswog (Mike), Judy Berman (Mitchell), John McDermot (Becky), Chuck McDermot (Robin), Don McDermot and the late Ralph McDermot; and was adored by her many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Maryann and Robert McDermot. Debbie was very involved in her grandchildren's lives and their school community. She was the treasurer of the PTA at Shepherd of the Coast in Fort Lauderdale. We will miss, beyond words, our beautiful, selfless Debbie. Debbie's life will be honored at a memorial service held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, 2024, at St. Mary's Church, 2510 Middle Road, Glenshaw, PA 15116.
