Judith Lee 'Judy' Burke, 88, of Greensburg, died Saturday, April 6, 2024, in UPMC Shadyside Hospital. She was born Feb. 4, 1936, in Altoona, a daughter of the late William Scott Walker and Betty Budd Walker. Prior to retirement, Judy was employed as a salesclerk at Kaufmann's Department Store. She enjoyed watching sports, especially the Pittsburgh Pirates. Judy loved doting over her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed gardening. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene J. 'Gene' Burke; her brother, William S. Walker; and her sister, Sally Eileen Walker. Judy is survived by her six children, Carol Over (Tom, 'T.O.'), Cathy McDowell, Linda Sleighter (Chris), Barbara Jefferson, Bill Burke (Joelyne), and Steve Burke (Allyson); 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren; also, several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 North Main Street, Greensburg. A funeral service for Judy will be held in the funeral home at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 12, 2024. Interment will follow in St. Clair Cemetery.
