Eva M. (Watt) Bantroch, 88, formerly of Washington Township, passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, in Concordia of Monroeville. Born Feb. 12, 1936, in Allegheny Township, she was a daughter of the late David Watt and Esther (Patterson) Watt. Eva was a graduate of Franklin High School, and worked for ALCOA as a secretary. She was later employed in the same position for the former Trevi Dress Shop in Shadyside for 17 years. Eva was a member of Poke Run Presbyterian Church. Eva enjoyed traveling, bowling and going on trips to casinos and amusement parks. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Jean Fanelli and Robert Watt. Eva is survived by her husband of 63 years, Andrew J. 'Andy' Bantroch; sister, Mary Walker of Cabot; and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 27, 2024, in the CURRAN-SHAFFER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, INC., 100 Owens View Ave., Apollo. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 28, 2024, in Poke Run Presbyterian Church, 1091 Poke Run Church Road, Apollo, with Pastor Pete Goetschius officiating.
