David E. Kushkowski, 74, of South Buffalo Township, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 5, 2024, at Quality Life Services of Sarver. He was born Feb. 8, 1950, in the Ducktown section of Harrison Township, to the late Edward S. and Helen L. (Kaminski) Kushkowski. David was a 1968 graduate of Har-Brack High School, where he played football and also attended Triangle Tech Institute in Pittsburgh. His working career started with the Penn Walt Corp in Pittsburgh, from 1970-1983, then to Edgar Industries in Upper Burrell, and finished his career at Napco Industries in Sarver. David was of the Catholic faith and was a member of Guardian Angels Parish (former Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church) in Natrona Heights. He was active with the Highlands Hornets football program as a coach in the mid 1970's. David enjoyed hunting, his fishing trips to Canada and woodworking. David is survived by his wife of four and a half years, Susan (Lefik) Hagofsky Kushkowski; children, Crystal D. (Chuck) Hazlett, of Lower Burrell, Dana (Jim) Fennell and Tanya (Jimmy) Jarvie; grandchildren, Kaylee B. Hazlett (Matthew) and Trevor J. Hazlett (Hannah), Sierra Fennell (Joe) and Savannah Fennell (Justin) and Dakota Jarvie (Samantha) and Morgan Jarvie; great-grandchildren, Mason and Skylar; brother, Richard (Karen) Kushkowski, of Cabot; and by his fur babies, Max, Willie, Shayla and lapdog Gunner.
