Mary Ann Barnes, 88, of Murrysville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 25, 2024. Born Nov. 30, 1935, in Chicora, she was the beloved daughter of the late Rose and Ernest Zanella Sr. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her loving husband; David, stepson; David Barnes Jr., stepdaughter; Susan Barnes, brothers; T. Richard Zanella and Ernest Zanella Jr., and sister-in-law Lois Zanella. She leaves behind a legacy of love through her children: William (Tracy) Barnes of Delmont, Katrina (Ted) Vidnovic of California, and Alicia Barnes of Murrysville; stepsons Joseph Barnes Sr. of Maryland and Daniel Barnes of New York. Mary Ann is also survived by her siblings John Zanella of Florida and Paul (Suzanne) Zanella of Plum; sisters-in-law Jeanne Zanella of Plum and Bonnie (Rick) Shick of Florida; and daughter-in-law Janet Barnes of Ford City. Her memory will be cherished by her grandchildren: Sierra Vidnovic, Heith Johns, Amanda Wilson, Beth Rall, Keri Kiro, Keli Ridinger, Joseph Barnes Jr., Conierose Milauskas, Racquel Barnes, and Ariana Barnes. Mary Ann's love extended to her great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchild, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Mary Ann dedicated many years of service to Kroger and Sears. She was a devout lifelong member of Holy Family Church in Creighton, PA, where her faith was an integral part of her life.
