Martha Ridilla Rullo, 91, of Latrobe, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2024, peacefully in her home. She was born December 7, 1932, in Ridillatown, Unity Township, a daughter of the late John and Helen (Semanchek) Ridilla. Martha worked out of her home as a beautician. She was a member of the Saint Rose Roman Catholic Church in Latrobe, where she was a very active member and volunteer, including at Saint Vincent de Paul Society. Martha was a passionate sports fan, attending Friday night football games at Derry Area High School and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates, and Penn State Nittany Lions. Her other interests included cooking, baking, and spending time with her family and lifelong friends. She also enjoyed being part of her weekly bible study group for over 25 years. She should always be remembered for her selfless and caring nature to all those who were able to know her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Billy Newcomer; two sons-in-law, Barry Clawson, and Jack Currykosky; brothers, John M. Ridilla (Stella), Michael Ridilla, Andrew "Brownie" Ridilla (Theresa), George Ridilla, Paul Ridilla, William Ridilla, and Harry Ridilla; and sisters, Ann Rudy (Joseph), Katheryn Popp (George), Helen Rosa (William), Mary Ridilla, Rose Dell (Dick), Lucille Overstreet (Charles), and Susan Schmucker. She is survived by her husband of almost 63 years, J. Daniel Rullo; five children, Helen Jane Currykosky, Bill Newcomer (Anna Marie), Anita Hudock (Richard), Daniel Rullo, and Mark Rullo (Theresa); eight grandchildren, Kathy Clawson, Brian Clawson (Gloria), Emily Shimko (Jonathan), Karlie White (Spencer), Erika Hudock, Caleb Rullo, Abby Rullo, and Kenzi Rullo; four great-grandchildren, Lauren Clawson, Allison Clawson, Barry Clawson, and Sydney White; two sisters-in-law, Joan Ridilla, and Helen Ridilla; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. There will be no public visitations. Friends and family are welcome to a funeral mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 19, at St. Rose Church, 4969 PA-982, Latrobe, Interment will follow at Saint Vincent Cemetery.
