William D. Simmons, 74, of Arnold, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Quality Life Services, Worthington. He was born November 5, 1949 in Harrison Township to the late John and Helen (Park) Simmons. William lived most of his life in Brackenridge and was a laborer for PPG Industries in Creighton for over 20 years. He was of the Protestant faith and a 1967 graduate of Har Brack High School. William was a mechanic and handyman who enjoyed riding motorcycles and was an avid Steeler fan. Survivors include his son, Nathan D. 'Derick' Simmons, of Jeffersonville, IN; granddaughter, Meridian D. Smith, of Columbus, OH. Also surviving are his sisters, Joyce R. 'Sizzy' Ballard and Valda A. Woody, both of Natrona Heights, and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Fred E. Simmons. Visitation will be Thursday, May 2, 2024 from 9 a.m.until the time of service at 11 a.m. in DUSTER FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 347 E. 10th Avenue, Tarentum, 724-224-1526 with Rev.
