Gloria Mae Santillo of Monroeville, passed away on Aug. 18, 2024, at the age of 87, in Monroeville. Born on May 31, 1937, in Pittsburgh, she dedicated 18 years of her life serving as a school guard at Franklin Regional, where she cherished her time with all the children. Additionally, Gloria was an esteemed auxiliary police officer, forming lasting friendships within the Murrysville Police Department. Gloria was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, revered for her nurturing and loving nature. She is survived by her siblings Shirley Moag, David Santillo, and Arlene Guinn; her children Charles Carl, Thomas Carl, Monica Foote, and Tricia Fogle; her grandchildren Christina Carl, Kaycee Carl, Kevin Foote, Amanda Foote, Caroline Fogle, and Dominick Fogle; great-grandchildren Cameron, Kaydence, Nevaeh, Raylinn, Leland, Carson, Harper, Sohpia, Alexander and Derek. Her passing was preceded by her parents Claude and Caroline C. Santillo; brothers Ronald and Gerard Santillo; nephews Claude A. II and Luigi Santillo. Gloria's life will be celebrated and remembered for her immense love for her family, her commitment to the safety and well-being of the children she watched over and service to the community.
