Charles James (Jimmy) Peters, Jr., of Apollo, passed away Thursday, Sept. 26, 2024. He was born on Oct. 15, 1937, in Jeannette, PA, and was the son of the late Charles James Peters, Sr. and Pauline Peters. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, Barbara Ochoa, Ronald Peters, Alan Peters, and Charlene Peters. He is survived by his wife, Sandra (Caprino); and four children, Pauline Peters (Nick Gongolas), Charie Laskey (Jeffrey), Charles James Peters, III (Elizabeth), and Matt Peters (Vijaya). He is also survived by his grandchildren, Adam and Ashley Peters and Jacob and Corey Laskey; step-grandchildren, Katelyn and Ronald Geary; step-great-granddaughters, Harper and Ivy Geary; and several nieces and nephews. Jimmy was a very hardworking man his entire life and enjoyed spending time with his family; loved being out in the woods on his property, and never turned down a trip to get a few scoops of chocolate ice cream.
