Betty J. Anderson, 91, of Delmont, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2024. She was born July 6, 1933, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Archie and Vera (Livengood) DeFrances. After raising her children, Betty worked at Salem Crossroads Daycare. She enjoyed sewing for the Church Missionaries, washing and folding clothes, but, most of all, babysitting her grandchildren and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her loving husband, Harold Anderson; brother, Larry DeFrances; daughter-in-law, Karin; brother-in-law, William; and sister-in-law, Millie. Betty will be sadly missed by her sons, Jim (Kitty) Anderson of Penn Township, Dave Anderson of Greensburg, Kerry (Sandy) Anderson of Murrysville, Doug (Sue) Anderson of Delmont; daughter, Wendy (Greg) Fagert of Delmont; sister, Harriet Eidem of Greensburg; brothers, Harry DeFrances of Greensburg, Errol (Debbie) DeFrances of Minnesota; and numerous nieces and nephews. Betty was a proud grandmother of Brian (Christina) Anderson, Eric (Alyssa) Anderson, Mark Panichella, Matt (Kristen) Panichella, Amy Panichella, Adam (Chantal) Anderson, Drew (Karissa) Anderson, Michael (Stormie) Anderson, Matthew (Kara) Anderson, Laci (Brian) Guthrie, Jay (Kiley) Anderson, Jonathon (Van) Fagert, Steve (Maria) Fagert; great-grandchildren, Blake Anderson, Ellie Anderson, Bennett Anderson, Bowen Anderson, Patrick Panichella, Keaira Panichella, Olivia Panichella, Sloan Panichella, Smith Panichella, Easton Anderson, Kaden Anderson, Ava Anderson, Axton Anderson, Arley Anderson, James Guthrie, Grace Guthrie, Reese Anderson, Ryder Anderson, Nora Fagert, Zoey Fagert, Lucas Fagert, Cecilia Fagert, Charlotte Fagert; and great-great-grandchild, Asai Panicella, whom she loved all so dearly. A service for Betty will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at the funeral home, followed by a committal service at Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
