Robert Dale Landy Sr., 92, of Bullskin Township, passed away on Friday, June 7, 2024, at home, surrounded by his family. Born April 20, 1932, he was the son of the late Frank P. and Alma C. (Stout) Landy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Jean (Kwak) Landy; a son, Robert D. Landy, Jr.; sisters, Charlotte Kwak and Betty Lewis; and brothers, John, Ray and William Landy. Robert was a skilled construction worker and member of the Operating Engineers Local 66 since 1963. Robert was a devout Christian and family man, loved by many and noted as a strong yet gentle soul. He attended Epiphany Anglican Fellowship of Ligonier. He loved to travel to New England and eastern Canada and was an avid hunter and gardener. Robert is survived by his loving sons, Timothy Lee Landy of Mt. Pleasant and Scott D. (Leanna) Landy of Acme; and grandchildren, Angeline (Eric) Duffy and Scott D. Landy, II, both of Greensburg; and great-granddaughter, Camryn Duffy. Family and friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m., on Thursday and from 2 to 4 p.m., on Friday, and 6 to 8 p.m., in the GALONE-CARUSO FUNERAL HOME, 204 Eagle St., Mount Pleasant, PA, where his funeral service will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, with the Rev.
