Michael F. Connelly, age 63, of North Huntingdon, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2024, in his home. Mike was born on Nov. 14, 1960, in McKeesport, the son of the late Jerry H. and Mary Grace (McDonnell) Connelly. Mike worked for Verizon and retired from Wine and Spirits Store in North Huntingdon. Since he was a kid, he was a talented and gifted musician, songwriter, singer and composer. Mike is survived by his daughter, Jamie Fitzgerald; his grandsons, Jesse and Jordan (Emma) Connelly; his former wife and best friend of over 40 years, Deborah Connelly; his sister, Maura Gray (Richard) and the late Kathleen Connelly; his nephews, Ryan Connelly (Kelly) and Austin Gray (Danielle); his great-niece, Ava Grace Connelly; his favorite Aunt Linda of Kansas; numerous cousins, and his two cats and best buds, Barron and T-Bone. Family and friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 10 and from 2 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 11 in the OTT FUNERAL HOME INC., 805 Pennsylvania Ave., Irwin 724-863-8900. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 12 in the funeral home chapel with his cousin, the Rev. Emerson Williams Jr. officiating. Burial will be private.
