John C. Fry, 84, of Wendel, formerly of New Stanton, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2024, in the AHN Forbes Hospital, Monroeville. He was born Aug. 9, 1939, in Greensburg, a son of the late Charles and Elizabeth Brunot Fry. John was employed by the former Dickerson Construction Co. and retired from UPS as a truck driver. He was a veteran having served with the U.S. Marine Corps. John enjoyed spending time at the Anytime Fitness Gym in Irwin. In addition to his parents, John was predeceased by his first wife, Alice Goblesky Fry; his second wife, Anita Copeland Fry; sons, Charles, David, and Nathan Fry; a brother, Frederick Fry; and a sister, Diana Chesky. He is survived by his children, John Fry and wife, Tami, Lisa Mull, all of Irwin, and Alllison Murvine and husband, Rick of FL; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received 3 to 6 p.m., Friday, in the JOHN V. GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME INC., 228 North 2nd St., Jeannette. A funeral service will take place at 6 p.m., Friday, in the funeral home chapel with Chaplain Kevin Giddings officiating.
