Jennie L. (Manos) Schellinger, 89 years old, from Tarentum, PA, went peacefully and quietly to be with the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday, April 26, 2024. In her life, she was truly a warrior for her family, who she loved more than words can describe. Her two sons and four grandchildren held a very special place in her heart. However, her 12 great-grandchildren took her love to another level. They kept her spirit going to the very end. Jennie was born Aug. 15, 1934, to the late Thomas J. Manos and Jenny (Rozonsky) Manos. She married Ralph R. Schellinger, Sr. on Aug. 21, 1954. She is survived by a brother, Philip M. Manos; son, Amos R. Schellinger; daughters-in-law, Louise (Buzzard) Schellinger and Cynthia (Stephan) (Schellinger) Perdeus; grandchildren, Leah J. Schellinger, Lindsay S. Schellinger, Robert (Shan) Schellinger, Marcus (Erin) Schellinger; and also by 12 great-grandchildren, Carmine, Nevaeh, Amare, Domanic, Lukas, Emanuel, Biggie, Adelaide, Ethan, William, Quentin and Asher. She was a longtime member of Evangel Heights Assembly of God. Jennie was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Ralph R. Schellinger; son, Ralph R. Schellinger, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Jane E. (Shetler) Schellinger; sister, Pauline D. James; and brothers, James T. Manos, Thomas J. Manos, and George D. Manos. Friends will be received from 1 to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at the Evangel Heights Assembly of God, 120 Beale Road, Sarver. A funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. with Rev.
