Robert J. "Bob" Hartman, 82, of Penn Township, formerly of Level Green, passed away Friday, June 9, 2023. Bob was born Jan. 16, 1941, in Pittsburgh, the son of the late Sebastian and Genevieve (Salacinski) Hartman. Bob was a mechanical engineer and retired from SMS Engineering. He was a member of St. Regis Church in Trafford, a veteran of the Air Force, a former board member of the Level Green Recreation Board, president of the Norwin Senior Softball Association, a member of the Swickley 55 Volleyball and Basketball Group and a member of the Murrysville Senior Centers. Bob is survived by his wife of 56 years, Judith "Judy" L. (Kramer) Hartman; his children, Jeff Hartman (Veronica) and Amy Florio (Perry); his grandchildren, Katie Florio, Michael Hartman, Ryan Florio and Rachel Hartman; and his siblings, Timothy Hartman (Wanda), Janet Voyten (Frank) and Joann Murphy. Family and friends will be received from 2:30 until 8 p.m. Tuesday in the JOHN M. DOBRINICK FUNERAL HOME INC., 702 Seventh St. (State Route 130), Trafford, 412-372-3111. Parting prayers will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home followed by a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Regis Church with Father George Saltrik as celebrant.
