Charles Elmer Cramer, 96, of Unity Township, died Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Loyalhanna Care Center, Derry Township. He was born Dec. 7, 1927, in Lycippus, a son of the late Albert E. and Rachel (Summy) Cramer. He served with the US Army during WWII, and prior to retirement, he worked at the former TOYAD Corporation, Latrobe. Elmer had a passion for woodworking and enjoyed giving away his many projects that he made. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Iva J. (Bronson) Cramer; six sisters, Harriett and Emma Cramer, Lottie Gliden, Mildred Kunkle, Etta Anderson, and Rebecca Wissinger; and five brothers, John, Edward 'Abe,' Paul, William, and Bernnie Cramer. He is survived by his sons, Charles A. (Cynthia), Raymond E. (Sandra), and Jeffrey A. Cramer (Kasey Ellis), all of Greensburg; four grandchildren, Wesley Cramer, Christy Sheehy, Raeanne Garlovich, and Cory Cramer; 10 great-grandchildren, Alexei, Charlie, Callie, Ahnika, Trustin, Levi, Issac, Naleia, Saria, and Paige; and numerous nieces and nephews.
