Pine-Richland High School senior Ben Dudkowski was named the Clearview Federal Credit Union Bocce Player of the Month for November.
The program recognizes Special Olympics Pennsylvania’s Three Rivers Region’s exceptional athletes and unified partners who demonstrate sportsmanship, teamwork and dedication on and off the bocce court and who promote inclusion and respect within the school community. Ben was nominated by his coaches, Beth Sipe and Mike Bashioum.
Award for superintendent
Superintendent Brian Miller has been selected for the 2024 Baldridge Foundation Award for Leadership Excellence in Education by the Foundation for the Malcolm Baldridge National Quality Award.
The award recognizes exceptional leadership in the promotion of performance excellence across the country.
RAMS Way honor
All six Pine-Richland schools have been recognized by the Pennsylvania Positive Behavior Support Network for achieving Tier I with Fidelity status for implementing and sustaining schoolwide positive behavior interventions and supports through the RAMS Way program during the 2023-2024 school year.
The recognition highlights Pine-Richland’s commitment to creating a positive, supportive school environment that encourages positive behavior, reinforces expectations, and promotes respect and responsibility throughout the school, contributing to the well-being and success of all students.
Healthy high school
Pine-Richland High School placed eighth out of 125 schools nationwide and first in the Northeast Region in the 2024 Sodexo Healthy High School Challenge.
Schools earned points for every meal combo and healthy a la carte items purchased.
