Rosemary T. Barr, 80, of New Kensington, passed away at her home, Monday, Jan. 16, 2023, after being ill several years. She was born Sept. 18, 1942, in Harrison Township, to the late Norman B. and Gertrude A. (Kutsch) Donahue. Rosemary lived most of her life in New Kensington and 15 years in Buffalo Township before moving back to New Kensington. She worked in human resources and executive secretary for Gulf Research, UParc and also Marsico Corp. for a number of years. She was a member of Guardian Angles Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Campus, Natrona Heights and a 1960 graduate of Tarentum High School. Rosemary enjoyed cooking, card club and especially enjoyed her family, children and her grandchildren. Survivors include her children, Terry A. (Mary Lou) Barr, of Allegheny Township, Daniel E. (Karen Hill) Barr and Kevin R. (Melissa) Barr, both of New Kensington; grandchildren Kaitlyn Helm, of New Kensington, Trevor Barr, of Allegheny Township, Wyatt Barr, of New Kensington, Owen Barr, of Allegheny Township, and Addison Barr, of New Kensington. Also surviving are her siblings, Bernard A. (Sarah) Donahue, of Champaign, Ill., Eileen (Ralph) Landefeld, of Estero, Fla., and Margaret (Tim) Youngless, of Humble, Texas. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph E. "Beans" Barr in 2014; and her siblings, Norman F., Edwin J. and James J. Donahue and Marilyn Durst.
