Kenneth R. Peoples Sr., 74, of Harrison Park, Penn Township, died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2024, at Forbes Hospital, Monroeville, due to Agent Orange. He was born March 29, 1949, in Portsmouth, Va., to Benjamin and Naomi (Maines) Peoples. Ken was a Navy veteran who served in Vietnam and was a member of White Oak Post 701 American Legion. He worked for Respironics for many years and retired from PPG Industries, all the while being a photographer for multiple local news media. Ken is survived by his beloved wife, Carolyn (Norton) Peoples; two dedicated sons, Kenneth Jr. and Kevin Peoples; a sister, Deborah Lunn; and nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Ken was preceded in death by his adored in-laws, Paul and Pauline Norton. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 22, at LINDSAY-JOBE FUNERAL HOME INC., 3343 Route 130, Harrison City, 724-744-2721. Interment with full military honors will follow at Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg.
