Roy Alan Malik, 66, of West Newton, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at Excela Westmoreland Hospital in Greensburg. He was born Jan. 4, 1958, in Greensburg. Son of Iona G. (Albright) Malik and the late William A. Malik. He graduated from Sewickley Township High School, Class of 1975, during which he was in the band and was a very active 4H dairy member. He then attended and received his BS in Animal Husbandry from Delaware Valley College in Doylestown, PA. Roy worked and retired from the Department of Agriculture as a dairy inspector after 20 years of service. He loved working on his farm and enjoyed tending to his goats and cows. He enjoyed gardening flowers and vegetables and canning the produce. He was preceded in death by his father, William A. Malik; and survived by his mother, Iona G. (Albright) Malik of West Newton; brother, Ronald W. (Pat) Malik of Tremont, IL; sister, Nancy L. (Scott) Metzger of South Park, PA; nephews, Caleb (Alex) Malik, Jacob Malik and great-niece, Parker Malik.
