A Plum man wounded during a shooting at a Donald Trump rally in Butler County was discharged from a hospital Wednesday, officials said.

Allegheny Health Network released an update Wednesday on both patients being treated at Pittsburgh’s Allegheny General Hospital following the shooting at the former president’s July 13 campaign rally.

Marine veteran David Dutch, 57, of Plum was discharged from the hospital.

James Copenhaver, 74, of Moon, who also suffered injuries in the shooting, remains in stable but serious condition.

Last week, Copenhaver’s family said in a statement he was recovering from “life-altering injuries.”

Dutch’s family also released a statement last week: “As we focus on David’s recovery, we also offer our deepest condolences and prayers for the other victims of this tragic event and their families.”

The FBI has identified Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, as the shooter. He was killed by the Secret Service moments after he fired shots at Trump.

Rally attendee Corey Comperatore, 50, of Buffalo Township was killed in the shooting.
