9/11 Moving Flag Tribute planned in Harrison

The 9/11 Moving Flag Tribute will be Wednesday on Broadview Boulevard in Natrona Heights, Harrison.

Walkers and runners of all ages will carry American flags from 5:45 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on the sidewalks from Lamparski Orthodontics to Morgan Street and back. A police flag will move the entire time in memory of fallen Brackenridge Police Chief Justin McIntire.

5K walk and run planned Sept. 21 at Schenley Trailhead

The Armstrong River Run and Watershed Walk 5K will be from 8 a.m. to noon Sept. 21 at the Armstrong Trails Schenley Trailhead, 128 Railroad St. in Gilpin.
