Bus issues

Quaker Valley School District officials addressed concerns from several Osborne Elementary parents at a meeting Sept. 24.

The parents, mostly from Leet, said their children were waiting for a second round of buses to take them home. Some were not being transported until after 4 p.m. and not arriving home until nearly 5 p.m.

Several parents also claimed the district-posted bus stop times were not being followed.

District officials said they will speak with transportation provider Monark about the concerns and come up with solutions.

The district is hiring bus drivers. More information is available at the district’s website, qvsd.org.
