Still want to keep the party going after all of the Independence Day fireworks? Here are some ways to make the best of your post-holiday weekend around town.

Carnegie Independence Day Celebration

For those who could still use some more fireworks and red, white and blue spangled decorations, Carnegie Borough is hosting its Independence Day celebration this weekend. The Saturday event will begin at 2 p.m. in Carnegie Park, with music, food and fun lasting all day.

There will even be games and a bouncy house. But they didn’t forget the most important thing — fireworks begin after sundown.

Check out the borough’s website at carnegieborough.com.

Jammin’ July

Sandcastle Waterpark in Homestead kicks off its Jammin’ July music series on Saturday with reggae music by The Flow Band. ‘Jaws’ at the Oaks Theater

Trading one holiday for another, the Discovery Channel’s traditional Shark Week starts Sunday. What better way to celebrate than viewing the original blockbuster, Steven Spielberg’s “Jaws”?

The 1975 film is about a killer shark that terrorizes a New England beach town until an intrepid band of brave people unite to save the day. To see it on the big screen, visit the Oaks Theater in Oakmont on Friday night. The film runs from 8 to 10:05 p.m.

Tickets are $10. To get yours, visit theoakstheater.com.

Good Fridays

Held every Friday at the Andy Warhol Museum on the North Shore from 5 to 10 p.m., the Good Fridays series features half-price admission. Currently on display at the museum is “Altered States,” featuring Warhol’s works that mixed metallic powders, acrylic, copper paint — and urine. Another exhibition, “KAWS Warhol,” examines “the dark themes present in the work of both artists,” per the museum.
