Robert Michael DeFrancesco, Sr., 67, of Greensburg, passed away on Friday, April 26, 2024. He was born March 30, 1957, in Pittsburgh. Known affectionately to all as 'Bobby', he was one of four sons of the late Alfredo and Rose (Pagliaro) DeFrancesco. Bobby graduated from South Hills High School, Class of 1975. He proudly served the community through his small business, Bobby DeFrancesco and Sons Garage Door Company, for over 35 years. Through his work, he held various trade association memberships, including the International Door Association. Additionally, he was an usher and member at Blessed Sacrament Cathedral in Greenburg. Furthermore, he was a member of the 4th degree with the Knights of Columbus Council 1480 in Greensburg. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James DeFrancesco; sister-in-law, Cindy DeFrancesco; nephew, Anthony DeFrancesco; father and mother-in-law, Carl P. Sr. and Kathryn (Campbell) Izzo; and brother-in-law, Carl P. Izzo, Jr. He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Linda (Izzo) DeFrancesco; two sons, Robert, of Murrysville, and Nicholas, of Greensburg; brothers, Anthony and wife Suzy, of Florida, and Ronald and wife Janet, of Pittsburgh; sisters-in-law, Cyndi (Izzo) Atterbury and husband Doug, Sandra (Izzo) Rudisill and husband James, and Mary Claire (Spinabelli) Izzo; and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Bobby from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. A Funeral Mass will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, 300 N. Main St., Greensburg, PA 15601. Please go directly to the church.
