Margaret "Margie" (Koupjack) Sekelsky, 86, of Westmoreland City, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at Independence Health System - Westmoreland Hospital. She was born Dec. 13, 1937, in Westmoreland City, to the late Steve and Katherine (Rogorska) Koupjack. Margie worked for Bell Telephone, then Verizon in several positions until her retirement. She was a member of St. Michael's Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Jeannette. In addition to her parents, Margie was was preceded in death by five sisters, Julia Gombos, Helen Brady, Katherine Draggi, Mary Liebdzinski, and Stella McKeag; and two brothers, John Kupcheck and Michael Koupjack, Sr. She is survived by her husband, Raymond Francis Sekelsky; two children, Steve Sekelsky (Arifa) and Michael Sekelsky (Yoko); three grandchildren, Hassan, Leah, and Ethan Sekelsky; nephews, Michael Koupjack, Jr. and James Brady; a niece, Donna Gower; several nieces and nephews outside the area, and many relatives in Poland. Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 12, 2024, at OTT FUNERAL HOME INC., 805 Pennsylvania Avenue, Irwin. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 13, 2024, in the funeral home. Interment will follow in St. Michael Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, Hempfield Township.
