Joseph Dutton was peacefully reunited with his Lord and Savior on Monday, April 22, 2024. Joe was born December 3, 1957, in Pittsburgh, graduating from Moon Township High School in 1975. Joseph completed a degree in Electronic Engineering at Robert Morris. He lived in Greensburg for the last 30 years of his life with his beloved wife, Susan J. Holmes. He was preceded in death by his parents, William A. and Carmella (DeMarco) Dutton, and brother, William Dutton, Jr. Along with his family, Joe's life-long love was cooking. He was a Certified Executive Chef and regularly prepared banquets and feasts for hundreds of happy, hungry customers. Family meals frequently included Joe's famous spaghetti sauce and lasagna or garlic mashed potatoes. Joe spent the majority of his career as Executive Chef at the Quality Inn (formerly Days Inn) in Lower Burrell. Joe loved music, his motorcycle and anything involving technology. Joe and Susan loved to travel and cruise where they made lasting friendships. Joe is survived by his wife of 24 years, Susan, his step-daughter, Jennifer (Jeremia) Feyrer, granddaughter, Alora Feyrer, brother, Anthony (Holly) Dutton, and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held at the GENE H. CORL FUNERAL CHAPEL INC. AND CREMATION SERVICES OF MONROEVILLE, 4335 Northern Pike (412-372-2100), on Sunday, April 28, from 2 to 4:30 p.m., followed by a memorial service at the funeral home at 4:30 p.m. with Pastor Brian Mesick officiating.
