Lawrence Eugene Meyers, 84, of Plum Borough, passed away Saturday, April 29, 2023, in his home. He was born Dec. 2, 1938, in Braddock, to the late Nicholas and Dorothy Wensel Meyer. Lawrence was a K-9 officer for Braddock and later became a police detective for Wilkinsburg Police Department. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Petra M. Vasquez; his sons, Lee, Jimmy and Jackie; and his daughters, Lisa, Lorri and Vicky. Lawrence is survived by his son, Larry Meyer Jr.; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. As per Lawrence's wishes, all services were private.
