John J. Kushner, 79, a lifelong resident of Natrona, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024, at UPMC St. Margaret, surrounded by his loving family. Born on Jan. 24, 1945, in Natrona Heights, he was the son of the late Augustin and Josephine (Razak) Kushner. A proud graduate of Har-Brack High School, John honorably served his country in the Navy. He was deeply committed to his family and dedicated to serving his community through his HVAC business, where he provided affordable services to those in need. John is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Rose Anne (Hensel); his daughters, Amy (Clint) Walker, and Melissa (Jonathan) Millen; his son, Douglas (Tina) Kushner; and his cherished grandchildren, Augie, Charles, Elena, Anya, and Nickolas. He also leaves behind his brothers, Joseph (Dolly) Kushner, and Frances (Patty) Kushner; his sisters, Elizabeth (Richard) Spicher, and Agnes Juris; along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Clementine (late Henry) Wysocki. There will be no visitation. A celebration of life will be scheduled for a later date.
