Jeffrey C. Walton, of New Stanton, PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 30, 2024, in Greensburg, PA, surrounded by his loving family. He was born March 23, 1962, in Greensburg, PA. Son of Carl F. Walton and the late Joann M. (Bastaich) Walton. He graduated from Hempfield High School, class of 1981. Jeff worked and retired from Penn State Tool and Dye as a machinist after more than 40 years of service. He enjoyed fishing (primarily in Erie, PA), hunting (locally and in OH), taxidermy with his brother, Craig, and camping at 'Camp Cameron' with family and friends. He was a beekeeper, rescuing bees and selling nucs and honey locally. He tended to a large vegetable garden and flower beds around his home annually. He enjoyed playing baseball with the family, listening to country music, and watching Bonanza. He was preceded in death by his mother; and son, Dillon W. Walton. He is survived by his loving daughter, Kelley J. (Steven) Seyler, of Greensburg, PA; grandson, Izzek Seyler; ex-wife, Sheila A. (Butch) Albright, of Greensburg, PA; three brothers, Craig Walton of Derry, PA, Randy (Dina) Walton of Hunker, PA and Brock (Holly) Walton of Herminie, PA; and sister, Carlene (Gary) Rhodes of Ruffsdale, PA. The family would like to thank everyone who sent cards, visited Jeff, and supported the family while he was sick, including Madison United Methodist Church and Lifespring Christian Church. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, June 2, 2024, at the BEATTY-RICH FUNERAL HOME, INC., Route 136, Madison, PA, with Ronald A. Rich Jr., Supervisor/FD. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 3, 2024, at the funeral home, with Morrow R. Hartman as celebrant. Interment will be private.
