Michael A. Paxinos, 77, of Mount Pleasant (Bullskin Twp.), died on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, in the Harmon House, Mount Pleasant. He was born on Oct. 17, 1946, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Andrew G. and Mary Toulouza Paxinos. Mike was a tool and dye maker for the Honisek Tool Co., where he retired. He was a longtime member of the Connellsville Lions Club and the Toppers Bowling League. He was also an avid golfer, having been a member of the Pleasant Valley Country Club and, later, the Pleasant Valley Golf Club, where he played in the SWATS for many years. Among his other hobbies, Mike enjoyed photography and model trains. He is survived by his wife, Jean Honisek Paxinos; two children, Christina ( C.J.) Paxinos of Connellsville and Andrew Paxinos and his wife Christina of Latrobe; his twin grandchildren, Michael and Olivia Paxinos; one sister, Teddie Gillis of FL; nephew, John Jay Gillis of FL; and niece, Mary Bot-Hefferman of Tacoma, WA. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Felice Stevenson; and a brother, George Paxinos. There will be no public viewing or services. A celebration of Mike's life will be held at a future date and time to be announced. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Connellsville Lions Club in memory of Michael A. Paxinos.
