Edward M. Laskoski, 84 of Ligonier, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2024, in the Westmoreland Manor. He was born June 16, 1940, in Hempfield Township, a son of the late Chester A. and Helen E. (Labor) Laskoski. Edward owned and operated Laskoski Service Station for 55 years. He was a Mason, a member of the NRA and enjoyed deer hunting so much that he would count down the days to the first day of rifle season. Ed is survived by his daughter, Susan E. Laskoski-Smith (Scott) of Latrobe; two grandchildren, Nicole L. Tiberi (Lawrence) of Ligonier and Lucas J. Younker (Carolyn) of Ligonier; three great-grandchildren, Landen Laskoski, Lincoln Tiberi and Charlotte Younker; one brother, Walter R. Laskoski (Linda) of Bolivar; and his beloved dogs Rosie and Sadie. Ed is preceded in death by his wife, Ruth (Roby) Laskoski and his parents. Family will receive friends Monday, July 22 from 3 to 5 p.m., in the MCCABE FUNERAL HOME Ligonier with a memorial service at 5 p.m. in the funeral home with Rev. J.Paul McCracken officiating.
