Michael S. Carns, 55, of Mount Pleasant, passed away Wednesday June 12, 2024, at home, surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Carns was born April 24, 1969, in Mount Pleasant to the late William Carns and Jill Gunsallus Weyandt. Mike was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant Area High School, class of 1987. He worked for Gulisek Construction for over 20 years. He was a member of the Carpenters Union and the Laurelville Sportsman's Club. Mike enjoyed hunting, riding his Harley Davidson, snowmobiling, and spending time with his family. Mike is survived by his loving family; his wife, Tracey Dawson Carns; his children, Shalyn Sirianna (Mike) and Shane Carns (Sydney); and his grandchildren, Casen, Zander, Braxtin, and Tripp. He is also survived by his sister, Lori Carns Weld (John); brother-in-law, Scott Dawson; his faithful dog, Meeka; and by numerous extended family and friends. Family and friends will be received on Saturday, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., at GALONE-CARUSO FUNERAL HOME INC., 204 Eagle Street, Mt. Pleasant.
