Labor Day is quickly approaching! With the celebration of Labor Day comes the closing the pools and changing of seasons.
Wilkinsburg had a sizzling summer, filled with countless community events.
There was so much free food, grilled and Jamaican food by Royal Touch, a bouncey house for the kids, face painting, lots of resources, music, dancing and a special performance by, Live from the City.
The park was overflowing with children playing. You would find kids on swings, playing tag, and filled with joy.
"Community day was so nice. The weather was nice. Me and the family had a good time," Shirley Wilson said.

8-year Harrison Lewis said, "There was so much for us to do. I'm happy my mom brought me and my cousins here. I like community day."
Food, games, community, and more! What more could someone ask for?
