Woodland Hills linebacker Zykir “Ziggy” Moore committed to N.C. State on Saturday, choosing the Wolfpack from a list of nearly two dozen college football offers.
A 6-foot-2, 215-pound rising senior, Moore was a first-team all-conference player as a sophomore before missing most of his junior season to injury. He previously announced a top five that also included Boston College, Syracuse, Toledo and UConn.
Recruiting website 247Sports rated Moore as a three-star prospect. He also had Ohio, Buffalo, Bowling Green and Miami (Ohio) among his FBS offers.
Moore led Woodland Hills in rushing as a sophomore and ranked second with 10 touchdowns.
N.C. State, an ACC school, went 6-7 overall last season and 3-5 in the conference. Coach Dave Doeren is entering his 13th season with the Wolfpack.
