Barbara Ann Wengert, 90, of Greensburg, passed away Monday, Sept. 9, 2024. She was born July 3, 1934, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late William W. Sr. and Laura A. Marsh Wengert. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Mary Elizabeth Hays, and a brother, William W. Wengert, Jr. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Greensburg. Prior to retirement, Barbara worked at the former Perfection Photo, in Greensburg. Later, she volunteered for 18 years at the former Greensburg Care Center. She enjoyed displaying the numerous nature photos that she would take. She was an avid bird watcher. Those who knew Barbara would attest that she was the sweetest, most accepting, non-judgmental person and that she loved a hot cup of coffee. She is survived by a nephew, William (Alecia) Wengert, III; five nieces: Susan (Michael) Kucenic, Mary Beth (Scott) Miller, Barbara (Randy) Wolfe, Becky (Keith) Magel, and Amy (Scott) McElfresh; the following great-nieces and great-nephews: Michael, Julia, Matthew (Karlye), Josh, Leah, Adam, Laura (Aaron), Cody (Rachel), Aaron (Lauren), Haley, Emily, Amanda, and Allison; two great-great-nieces: Abigail and Hannah; and a great-great-nephew, Trevor. Family and friends will be greeted from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church, 1228 Brinkerton Road, Greensburg. A memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. in the church.
