Mardi Gras at Elks 339 – Laissez Les Bon Temps Rouler!

About

Beads, brass bands, and Bourbon Street vibes – it's time for the wildest Mardi Gras celebration in Pittsburgh! Join us Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at Allegheny Elks Lodge #339 for a night of high-energy music, mouthwatering New Orleans cuisine, and all the revelry you can handle. Colonel Eagleberger’s High-Stepping Goodtime Band kicks things off outside, setting the tone with foot-stomping tunes as guests arrive. Once inside, Dixie Doc will keep the party rolling while you indulge in authentic Cajun delights—think beignets, shrimp po’boys, gumbo, and cheesy grits (so good you’ll think you’re in the French Quarter!). Wash it all down with a classic Hurricane cocktail at the bar, but remember—laissez les bon temps rouler responsibly! Taking the stage for his third year as Master of Ceremonies, the inimitable Bernard Martin will lead us through the night’s festivities, including the grand Mardi Gras parade of Kings and the mystery Queen reveal! Who will don the crown this year? That’s a secret we’re keeping tighter than a sealed King Cake—so you'll have to be there to find out. Expect surprise performances, the return of our legendary past Kings, and a trinket toss straight from the streets of New Orleans. And don’t forget—every dollar raised helps support the Elks' charities, including programs for individuals with disabilities, veterans, and historic preservation efforts. Tickets are just $20, but the memories? Priceless. Get ready, Pittsburgh—this is the Mardi Gras party you don’t want to miss!
