At Sendell Motors, our team is dedicated to providing the very best in customer care, and we take pride in giving back to the community that has supported us for generations. Our journey began in 1909 when our great-grandfather, Edward W. Mohler, founded Mohler Motor Co., a Buick dealership in Pittsburgh. In those early days of the automotive industry, Edward represented several brands including Auburn, Scripps- Booth, Davis, Gray, Gardner and even the rare Logomobile. In 1930, he relocated the business to the "Point" in downtown Greensburg, selling Ford and Lincoln vehicles, along with trucks and garden tractors. Then in 1964, our grandfather, William G. Mohler, moved the dealership to Route 30-now the site of the U-Haul store-and began selling Buicks, Opels, and Renaults. In 1972, our father, William M. Mohler, joined the family business. By 1980, he had purchased Sendell Motors and moved the Buick franchise to its current location. Over the years, he added Volkswagen, Oldsmobile, and Mitsubishi to the lineup. By 2014, my sister and I became the fourth generation to lead the business. That same year, we were proud to bring Subaru into our family of brands. Since then, we've continued to grow. We built the Greensburg Collision Center, a state- of-the-art body shop next to our VW store. In 2024, we expanded again - moving to a new, modern facility on Donohue Road in the former Hampton Office building. In 2016, we completed the Subaru showroom along with an expanded service and detail center. Most recently, we completed a full renovation of our Mitsubishi store to continue offering a modern, welcoming environment for our customers. Next we will finish building out the front of the former Greensburg Collision Center on Route 30 for our Pre Owned Vehicle Center and finish adding service facilities in the rear of that building. With over 100 years of continuous operation, four generations of the Mohler family have remained dedicated to the automotive business.
