PUBLIC INPUT HEARING NOTIFICATION For FirstEnergy Pennsylvania Electric Company's Rate Increase Request Docket No. R-2024-3047068 The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PUC) will conduct 18 Public Input Hearings concerning FirstEnergy Pennsylvania Electric Company's request filed on April 2, 2024, to increase electric rates by $502 million per year. The Commission will conduct a series of Public Input Hearings, totaling eighteen (18) in total, with fourteen (14) Public Input Hearings to be conducted in-person at seven (7) different locations within the territory of FirstEnergy Pennsylvania Electric Company. An additional four (4) Public Input Hearings will be conducted by telephone using the Commission's conference bridge technology. Different processes will be used for the in-person hearings than will be used to the telephonic hearings. Individuals wishing to testify at either the in-person or telephonic hearings will only be permitted once. Time limitations may apply to how long individuals may testify, if a large number of other individuals wish to testify at the same session.
