The proposed Piney-Seward 115 kV Transmission Line Rebuild Project ("Project"), situated in Piney, Monroe, Limestone, Porter, Redbank, Ringgold, Timblin, West Mahoning, North Mahoning, East Mahoning, Rayne, Green, Pine, Buffington, East Wheatfield, and St. Clair Townships in Indiana, Westmoreland, Armstrong, Jefferson, and Clarion counties, Pennsylvania will be approximately 66 miles in length. The Project will originate at the existing Seward Substation and extend northwest toward the existing Piney Substation, where it will be constructed as a single circuit, 6-wire 115 kV configuration utilizing steel structures and will require the installation of approximately 336 new structures. The Project will be constructed within new and existing transmission line right-of-way.
