This week we will send another class of students back to a 95-year-old high school building that falls far short of meeting their educational needs. Our children and teachers deserve better. After years of citizen input, public hearings, and school board elections, Quaker Valley residents are ready to see the completion of the new high school project. Residents Are Tired of Wasting Tax Dollars on Band-Aid Solutions Taxpayers no longer want millions of dollars poured into maintenance of the existing, crumbling high school building. We need a long-term solution that provides decades of future students with a safe, technology-rich learning environment. As parents, grandparents, and concerned citizens committed to educational excellence, we commend the board for moving forward with the final planning, design, and construction of the new high school.
