About
Chef Ricky Kirsop began his culinary career in Portland Oregon. He started working in a small Italian restaurant making homemade pasta and bread as a young man, and realized the importance of working with fresh, high quality ingredients. After attending culinary school, he worked as an Executive Chef at the age of 23 in Lake Oswego. His passion for the restaurant business continued to grow as he furthered his culinary and management career with McCormick and Schmick’s Seafood Restaurant. This Portland based restaurant company brought Ricky to Pittsburgh to launch the opening of their newest location. He quickly immersed himself in the community and created Pittsburgh’s largest Culinary Competition, Savor Pittsburgh. After spending years in the culinary industry Ricky set his sights on opening his own restaurant which showcases a Pacific Northwest inspired menu featuring ingredients, Fresh Fish and Shellfish from the area where he grew up. It was time to express his vision of steak and seafood. This is where the West Coast and East Coast meet to redefine the traditional steakhouse. Welcome to Coast and Main. Seafood + Chophouse.
