MASA Travel Soccer MASA Fall 2022/Spring 2023 Registration and Evaluation Pennsylvania est. 1974 Murrysville Area Soccer Association is beginning the registration process for the Fall 2022/Spring 2023 travel season. Any player that would like to participate MUST register online and attend evaluation sessions. The try-out schedule is as follows: SOCCER U-10 Boys (Birth Year: 2013/2014) - Tues., May 24 - 5:45 to 6:45 U-12 Boys (Birth Year: 2011/2012) - Wed., May 25 - 7:00 to 8:00 U-14 Boys (Birth Year: 2009/2010) - Wed., Jun 1* - TBD *June 1 will be used as a make-up only if both sessions on May 24 and May 25 are cancelled. U-10 Girls (Birth Year: 2013/2014) - Tues., May 24 - 7:00 to 8:00 U-12 Girls (Birth Year: 2011/2012) - Wed., May 25 - 5:45 to 6:45 U-14 Girls (Birth Year: 2009/2010) - Wed., Jun 1* - TBD *June 1 will be used as a make-up only if both sessions on May 24 and May 25 are cancelled. All evaluation sessions will be held at Murrysville Community Park. Registration will be open through 5/22 and any player interested in playing MASA travel soccer MUST register prior to the evaluation sessions. Note that registration for MASA in-house soccer and U16+ travel will be open later in the year. Further information will be sent to registered players prior to the first evaluation date, and fees will NOT be collected at this time. Regarding U-10, we are encouraging all U-10 eligible players to attend the evaluation sessions so that we can properly form teams for both travel and the eagles (U-10 in-house) programs. Please understand that U-10 players are not required to participate in the sessions but will not be eligible for travel in the coming season if not present. Also, there is no expressed guarantee that every attendee at the U-10 evaluation sessions will make a travel team. Depending on turn-out and the evaluations, we will also field U-9 teams again this year. Players not selected for U-10 travel will be instructed to sign up for the eagles program later in the summer. Please note that players of ALL skill levels are welcome in the travel program. It is the natural progression from our in-house program and accommodates players of all skill levels.
