Christopher F. Reiling, Jr., 92, of Point Breeze, passed away on Monday, Aug. 26, 2024; son of the late Christopher F. Reiling, Sr., and the late Helen Miller Reiling; beloved husband of the late Rita Barrett Reiling, preceded in death by brothers and sisters Alice R. Villing (John), Lawrence C. Reiling (Joan), Helen R. Brown (James), Eileen R. Reiling, and Charles J. Reiling (Eileen); loving father of John Patrick (Nancy), Christopher David (Sandra), Elizabeth Jane "Betsy", and Thomas Barrett Reiling; beloved grandfather of Megan (Jack), Allison, Emily and Hannah. Chris attended and has had many good friends from St. Bede School and Church, Central Catholic High School, and Carnegie Mellon University (Carnegie Tech). Except for two years in the Army at Fort Leonard Wood, MO, he lived his entire life in the Point Breeze neighborhood of Pittsburgh. He worked his entire career at Reiling Manufacturing Company (founded by his father and uncle), where he was President for many years, and Keystone Metals (founder and President). Chris loved people and the joy he experienced with them lifted up everyone he met. Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at JOHN A. FREYVOGEL SONS, INC.
