Jan. 7: Dai’Von Means
Dai’Von Dailon Means, a 3-month-old boy, died from blunt force trauma to the head in a Duquesne home. His mother, Alisha L. Parker, 26, has been charged with homicide.

Jan. 12: Antonio Smith
Antonio Smith, 27, of McKeesport was one of two men found shot to death in a car in Pittsburgh’s Larimer neighborhood. Smith was shot in the head.

Jan. 12: Terrance Allen
Terrance James Ray Allen, 26, of Pittsburgh was one of two men found shot to death in a car in Pittsburgh Larimer neighborhood.

Jan. 20: Anthony Johnson
Anthony Johnson Jr., 35, of Aliquippa died from gunshot wounds to the head, trunk and arm after an altercation in the Steel Shaker bar in Coraopolis. Three other people were wounded.

Jan. 31: Derrick Eggleton
Derrick D. Eggleton, 30, of Pittsburgh died at UPMC Mercy Hospital after being shot in Pittsburgh’s Hill District. Deshawn Wallace, 46, of Pittsburgh has been arrested and charged with criminal homicide.

Jan. 31: Henry Craig
Henry J. Craig, 88, of Pittsburgh died of complications of a right hip fracture from an incident on Jan. 12, with the Allegheny County medical examiner’s office ruling the death a homicide.
Feb. 3: Antoine Dorsey
Antoine Elijah Devon Dorsey, 19, of Pittsburgh died after being shot in the chest when gunfire broke out at a baby shower in Pittsburgh’s Fairywood neighborhood.

Feb. 9: Ramiah Griffin
Ramiah Griffin, 20, of Pittsburgh died after being shot in a Baldwin Borough apartment, with police saying she was shot by the father of their child together. Adelin Itongwa, 22, of Monroeville has been arrested and charged with criminal homicide.

Feb. 12: Adam Kone
Adam Kone, 34, died at a local hospital after being shot in the chest after a domestic altercation along the border of Pittsburgh’s Overbrook and Carrick neighborhoods.

Feb. 24: Warren Thompson
Warren Thompson, 40, of Pittsburgh died after being shot outside the 703 Social Club in Pittsburgh’s Marshall-Shadeland neighborhood. Akil Raheem Tennyson, 31, has been charged with criminal homicide.

March 1: David Utley-Ralph
David Anthony Utley-Ralph, 25, of Mount Morris died from multiple gunshot wounds at UPMC Mercy after being shot in Station Square.

March 3: Marquese Freeman
Marquese Freeman, 20, of Pittsburgh died at UPMC Mercy after being fatally wounded during a shooting in which two other people were injured. Quincey Gurske, 20, of Mt. Washington has been arrested and charged with homicide.

March 3: Tyrese Davis
The body of Tyrese Jordan Davis, 21, was found between two buildings in North Braddock after he went missing in November 2023. He died from a gunshot wound to the head, according to the county medical examiner’s office.
March 4: Ronald Fuller
Ronald Fuller, 19, of McKees Rocks died at a local hospital from gunshot wounds to the torso and extremities after a gun battle in McKees Rocks.

March 7: Marquise Jones
Marquise Jones, 20, died after being shot in Clairton.

March 7: Andrew Miller
Andrew William Miller, 32, of Verona died at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital after being shot in the chest outside the World Class Tavern in Penn Hills.

March 15: Kim Horwood
Kim Owens Horwood, 70, of Whitehall was found dead in a home, according to the Allegheny County medical examiner’s office. The cause of death was multiple sharp force injuries.

Courtney Smith, 30, died after being shot in the head by Sean Black, with whom she was raising three children, according police. Black has been charged with criminal homicide.

Marc Kovach, 37, of Pittsburgh was found fatally stabbed outside a vacant home in Pittsburgh’s Elliott neighborhood.

March 25: Lontae Smith
Lontae Smith, 22, of Sheraden died at the Heritage Valley hospital from multiple gunshots in an incident in Pittsburgh’s West End.

March 30: Lamont Nichols
Lamont Nichols, 30, died after being shot in the chest after a weekend argument in a Duquesne apartment. Latiya Hicks, 24, of Braddock has been charged with criminal homicide.

March 31: Kevin Wilson
Kevin Wilson, 16, of Pittsburgh was found fatally shot in Wilkinsburg.

April 1: Jeramyah Pollard
Jeramyah Pollard, 16, a student in the Woodland Hills School District, was fatally shot in Braddock, while another was injured in the shooting after a large fight among juveniles.

April 4: Laferrel Dee
Laferrel Dee, 69, died after being stabbed several times in a Hill District home. Tyrone Taylor, 52, has been charged with homicide in the incident. Taylor had been found guilty of voluntary manslaughter in a fatal stabbing in 2010.

April 4: Jamair Coachman
Jamair Coachman, 18, of Penn Hills died four months after being shot in Pittsburgh’s Lincoln-Lemington-Belmar neighborhood.

April 5: Yancy Felder
Yancy Felder, 26, of Pittsburgh died at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital after being shot in McKeesport.

April 8: Christy Reeves & William Rabatin
Christy Reeves, 50, of Pittsburgh and William Rabatin, 53, of Scott were fatally shot in a Scott home. Police say Dennis Rahuba, 50, who had been in a long-term relationship with Reeves, fatally shot both and then killed himself on a West Virginia highway.

April 13: Edward Gibson
Edward Gibson, 36, died after a shooting at Beer Belly’s Bar in West Elizabeth. Jacob Snyder, 26, of Donora faces criminal homicide charges.

April 19: Nathaniel Walker
Nathaniel Walker, 48, of Pittsburgh died from multiple gunshot wounds inside a home in Pittsburgh’s Larimer neighborhood. Heirkess Moore-Smith, 25, of West Mifflin, has been arrested and charged with criminal homicide.

April 19: John Murray III
John E. Murray III, 59, of Pittsburgh died of sepsis, with authorities ruling the death a homicide, linking it to when he had been shot on Nov. 30, 1989. George Nicholas served time in jail, but authorities are weighing whether to charge him with homicide.

April 20: Ahsan Edwards
Ahsan Edwards, 15, of McKees Rocks died at Allegheny General Hospital after being shot in the chest in McKees Rocks.

April 29: David Rivera
David Rivera, 18, of Pittsburgh died from a gunshot wound to the chest after being shot in Pittsburgh’s Troy Hill neighborhood.

May 3: Brandon Dean
Brandon Dean, 39, died after being shot inside a vehicle in McKeesport. A GoFundMe page said Dean was driving for Lyft when he was fatally shot by a passenger.

May 3: Anthony Young
Anthony Young, 35, of Pittsburgh died after being shot in the head in the city’s Hill District. Jewel Woods, 27, of Pittsburgh has been arrested and charged with criminal homicide.

May 5: Derek Polite
Derek Polite, 56, of North Braddock was shot in the head in his home. His cousin, Bernard Polite, 26, is facing a homicide charge in the case.

May 17: Justin Ruff
Justin Young Ruff, 27, died after a shooting in a house in Pittsburgh’s Duquesne Heights neighborhood. Another man was injured in the shooting.

May 21: Nevaeh Howard
Nevaeh Howard, 18, of Rankin died at UPMC Presbyterian after being shot in the chest during a disturbance in North Braddock.

May 31: Israel Young
Israel Young, 18, of Pittsburgh died at Allegheny General Hospital after a shooting in the city’s Sheraden neighborhood.

June 2: Nathaniel Smiley Jr. and Stephanie Stuart
Nathaniel Smiley Jr., 44, of Pittsburgh and Stephanie Stuart, 28, of McKeesport died after a shooting in at Ballers Hookah Lounge and Cigar Bar in Penn Hills, where seven other people were injured. Chaz Jackson, 42, of Pittsburgh, a security guard at the bar, has been charged with homicide in Stuart’s death.

June 6: Jeremiah Anger
Jeremiah Anger, 25, of Pittsburgh died at UPMC Mercy after being shot in a home in Carrick. Breanna Didolce, 23, of Pittsburgh has been charged with homicide.

June 7: William Coffey
William Coffey, 24, was shot and killed in the parking lot of J Cats Bar in Braddock Hills. Abdullaah Bin Francken, a Washington County parolee, has been charged with homicide, charged with shooting his sister’s boyfriend after an argument in the bar.

June 9: Marc Meissonier
Marc Meissonier, 53, died after being shot with a shotgun near UPMC Mercy.

June 12: Aaron Marshall
Aaron Michael Marshall, 34, was found stabbed to death in an apartment building in Pittsburgh’s Crawford-Roberts neighborhood.

June 13: Bryant Boyd
Bryant Boyd, 64, of Duquesne was shot and killed in McKeesport.

June 16: Leon Katz
Leon Katz, six weeks, of Pittsburgh died at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Nicole Virzi, 29, of San Diego has been charged with homicide in connection with the death.

June 17: Shawn Czeczely
Shawn Marcus Czeczely, 53, of Pittsburgh was found fatally shot in Pittsburgh’s Arlington Heights neighborhood. Jason Ingram, 37, of Pittsburgh has been arrested and charged with criminal homicide. Michael Anthony, 40, of Penn Hills and Jonathan Robinson, 43, of Pittsburgh have also been arrested and charged with criminal homicide.

June 22: Desmond Lane
Desmond William Lane, 26, of Wilkinsburg died after being shot several times in Wilkinsburg.
June 23: Carole Smith
Carole L. Smith, 80, of Marshall died in an apparent murder-suicide with her husband, Roger Smith, 81. Both were found with gunshot wounds.

July 5: David Gamble
David Gamble, 39, of McKeesport was found fatally shot in his home. Isaiah Bridges, 30, of McKeesport has been arrested and charged with criminal homicide.

Terell Dachaon Blanks, 27, of Homestead died from multiple gunshot wounds in a shooting in Clairton. Thomas W. Walker V, 27, of North Braddock and Ciara Clifton, 25, of McKeesport have been arrested in connection with the shooting.

Anthony Walker, 51, of Pittsburgh died from a gunshot wound to the torso in the city’s Knoxville neighborhood.

July 25: Vincent Bazzone
Vincent Bazzone, 38, of Versailles died from multiple stab wounds after an altercation with his drinking buddy. Robert Kail, 40, of Peters has been charged with homicide in the incident.

Aug. 2: Jordan Geiger
Jordan Nathan Ross Geiger, 18, of Pittsburgh was fatally shot in the parking lot of a Giant Eagle in Ohio Township.

Aug. 3: Dana Burks
Dana Burks, 49, of Pittsburgh died after being shot at his home. His stepson, Rasheed Horne, 21, of Pittsburgh has been charged with criminal homicide.

Aug. 7: Joselyn Thomas
Joselyn Thomas, 18, of North Versailles was fatally shot inside a Monroeville apartment. Her boyfriend, Albert Williams III, 19, of Wilkinsburg has been charged with homicide.

Aug. 10: Soner Yilmaz
Soner Yilmaz, 34, was found fatally shot in Pittsburgh’s Homewood neighborhood. The man had been unidentified until the county medical examiner released his name on Aug. 28.

Aug. 12: James Nelson Jr.
James Nelson Jr., 42, of McKees Rocks died after a shooting in Stowe.

Aug. 13: Antoinette Porterfield & John West
Antoinette Porterfield, 45, of Homestead and John West, 54, of West Mifflin were fatally shot in Porterfield’s home. Police have charged her son, John Malcolm Smith V, 25, of McKeesport, with homicide.

Aug. 14: Brandon Thompson Jr.
Brandon Thompson Jr. of White Oak died during a marijuana sale in Wilmerding, according to police. Jackiel Young, 19, of Pittsburgh and Lynell Wilson-Smith, 18, have been charged with homicide.

Aug. 18: Barbara McKenna
Barbara McKenna, 64, was fatally beaten under a bridge in Carnegie. Joseph Beraducci, 29, of Pittsburgh has been charged with criminal homicide.

Aug. 22: Kenneth Reynolds
Kenneth E. Reynolds, 56, of Penn Hills was found stabbed in his home and transported to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, where he died.

Aug. 31: Lawrence Kelley
Lawrence Kelley Jr., 68, of Pittsburgh died from a gunshot wound to the left arm and trunk in a shooting in which two other people were injured.

Sept. 1: Ayla Miller
Ayla Miller, 3, was found dead in a home on Pittsburgh’s North Side. Her grandmother, Denise Johnson, 56, has been charged with homicide.

Micaiah Williams, 4 months, of Bloomfield died at UPMC Childrens Hospital days after being found in grave condition. His father, Seth F. Williams, 28, has been charged with criminal homicide.

Sept. 14: Tammy Cox
Tammy Cox, 51, of McKeesport died after being shot at her home. Before she died at a local hospital, she said her husband, Robert Cox, 50, shot her, according to police. Robert Cox has been arrested and charged with criminal homicide.

Sept. 14: Williams Hopkins
William Hopkins, 34, of Castle Shannon died at Allegheny General Hospital after being shot in McKees Rocks. Richard Horne, 28, of Pittsburgh has been charged with criminal homicide.

Sept. 16: Eddie Kimber
Eddie C. Kimber, 25, of South Oakland died after being shot after an argument with his roommate, according to police. The roommate, Destiny Jenkins, 23, and her boyfriend, Lee McGinnis, 24, have been charged with criminal homicide.

Gavin Yarbough, 21, of Braddock Hills died at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital after being shot in Pittsburgh’s Larimer neighborhood.

Marquis Jarrell, 29, of North Braddock died from a gunshot wound to the chest after being shot near a home in North Braddock.

Raneisha Scott, 27, of Homewood West died after being stabbed in the torso in Homewood.

Benjamin Brallier, 44, of Coraopolis died at Heritage Valley Sewickley Hospital after being stabbed along the Montour Trail in Moon. Anthony Quesen, 25, has been charged with criminal homicide.

Shana Maxwell, 37, of Whitehall died after being fatally stabbed in an apartment in Whitehall.
