Live! Casino today announced the totals for this year's second round of GiveBack Boxes for local charities. Thanks to the generosity of casino guests, Live! raised $6,116.83 for Educated Athletes First and $7,192.75 for the Westmoreland County Parks & Recreation Citizen Advisory Board.

Sean Sullivan, general manager of Live! Casino Pittsburgh, and Jon Campbell, director of sales and catering, presented checks to representatives from the two charities. Dorsey Cox, CEO, accepted the check on behalf of Educate Athletes First. Accepting on behalf of Westmoreland County Parks & Recreations Citizen Advisory Board were board chair Theresa Gay Rohall and parks coordinator Christian Panichella.

"We are happy to be able to give back to our community and support local partners who do such meaningful work," said Sullivan. "We look forward to investing in more local partnerships in the future as a way to build stronger connections for a stronger community."

The third quarter charities for the GiveBack Box program are the Best of the Batch Foundation and Shop With a Cop of Westmoreland County. The Best of the Batch Foundation offers programs for children over eight western Pennsylvania counties. The Shop With a Cop program gives children who were a victim of a crime or unfortunate circumstance the opportunity to go holiday shopping with a police officer from their area.
